  1. Bicycle & Trail Master Plan

    Connecting Brownsville: The 2013 Bicycle and Trail Master Plan was developed by the City of Brownsville Planning Department with the technical assistance and design help of Halff Associates, Inc.

  2. Brownsville Parks & Open Space Master Plan (PDF)

    Developed in 2008, the Open Space Master Plan was prepared in support of the city's ongoing commitment to provide a unique variety of safe, modern, and efficient parks and recreation facilities that enhance the quality of life by promoting good health and well being for all residents and visitors.

  3. Imagine Brownsville Comprehensive Plan

    The Comprehensive Plan was designed to establish our community’s vision objectives for a 10-year planning horizon and to develop an implementable strategy to help reach these targeted objectives.

  4. Mitte Cultural District Master Plan (PDF)

    Developed in 2015 by Cannon Design, and funded by Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, the Mitte Cultural District Master Plan was prepared to identify potential opportunities to support and enhance the District.

    Developed by the Walkable and Livable Communities Institute, and funded by AARP and AARP Texas, the Revitalizing Downtown Brownsville Active Living: Opportunities to Transform the Built Environment discusses key ways the downtown area can be re-vamped into a vibrant area.
